We're Turning 20!
It has been 20 years since a group from Brighton moved to plant a church in Bristol with the prayer and hope that God would grow a thriving church that loves Him and serves the City. Today, both Bridge Community Church and City Church exist with over 400 in attendance each week.
Having been meeting at separate sites in Bristol for the past 15 years, City Church and Bridge Community Church will reunite from this September onwards, with the shared vision to reach and impact the City.
On 22nd September we will be having a Celebration Party in the evening at the Elmgrove Centre which will run from 7.30-10.30pm. If you currrently attend City Church or Bridge Church, then we would love to invite you to come celebrate with us. It will be an evening of canapes, live music and dancing, providing a great opportunity to catch up with friends old and new. You will need to purchase a free ticket for the event, which you can do so by clicking on the link here, or by visiting the welcome desk on Sunday morning.
To mark this momentous occasion, we will also be having a Celebration Sunday Meeting on Sunday 24th September. The two sites, Bradley Stoke and Cotham, will be gathering together at 10.30am in the At-Bristol Science Centre on the Harbourside. Guy Miller, who currently heads up our family of churches called Commission, will be speaking on that morning, and we're excited for all he has to share with us! Whether you've been at City for a while, or have recently visited us, we would love to see you there!
