GIVING AT CITY CHURCH
WHY GIVE?
At City Church we all contribute to the life of our church in many ways. We do this first and foremost in response to God’s love for us. This includes financial giving to support and advance our vision and work as a church. With this in mind we encourage everyone who sees City Church as their home to give prayerfully, regularly, joyfully and generously in proportion with their income.
We would encourage you where possible to give by regular bank transfer or standing order (details below) – this is the most efficient and cost-effective way for us to receive donations. The full list of ways to give is listed below.
WAYS TO GIVE AT CITY CHURCH
There are five different ways you can give to City Church:.
1. ONLINE DIRECT TRANSFER
You can use your personal online banking to set up a donation to be made directly to City Church:

Please use your Initials and surname as a reference.
Most banks allow you to set this up to be a recurring weekly or monthly payment.
2. STANDING ORDER
If you’d prefer to give regularly via standing order, please download and complete a Standing Order form and return to your bank.
3. ONLINE VIA CARD
You can use the ‘Give Online’ button below to donate via Churchsuite.
Please note that we are charged a small transaction fee for each payment.
4. ON SUNDAYS
You can give via cash at our in-person meetings. Either place your donation in the bucket, or speak to a member of the Welcome Team.
5. PAYROLL GIVING
Some employers will match your giving to charities. Give as You Earn is often administered by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). City Church’s CAF reference number is: 71000701939
gIFt AID
City Church Bristol is a registered charity which means we can claim back 25p in every pound donated.
If you are a UK taxpayer, please complete a Gift Aid form online below. Paper copies of Gift Aid Declarations are also available from the church office
BUILDING FUND
If you would like to give towards our building fund at City Church then please give in any of the ways above, but please mark your gift with the reference ‘BUILDING FUND’
Funds given will be used to support the investigation into and future purchase/development of building(s) to support the ongoing work of City Church in Bristol.
We operate a hardship fund to offer relief for those in poverty who are a part of our community.
If you’d like to make a donation towards this fund, you can do so in the normal way by bank transfer using the reference ‘Hardship Fund’, or by selecting Hardship Fund if donating by card.
