TRAINEE PASTORS PLACEMENTS
We are adding another strand to our leadership development by creating a trainee pastor placement. Trainees would come and join the staff team on a part or full-time basis for two years to be trained for church ministry.
We want to fund this upfront with a view to those people then moving on to church ministry. This might be taking on the leadership of an existing church , joining the team of another church or perhaps even planting a new church.

INTERNSHIPS
Interning at City Church is a programme of personal growth and service alongside the staff of City Church Bristol. You will develop your natural gifts and talents whilst gaining new skills, grow in your understanding and experience of God and work in an exciting church environment.
Who is it for?
The Internship is for anyone who has a real passion for God and the church.
It’s an opportunity to grow in God, develop your gifts, and get stuck into what God is doing here at City Church. You will be based at the City Church Offices in Bristol for 3-4 days during the week, and will be expected to be involved across all our sites throughout your time with us. The internship is voluntary and so we would strongly recommend looking for part-time work.
Focus Areas
Your weekly timetable will include training, as well as serving the church in a variety of focus areas.
Social Action
Taking part in the Bristol Churches Winter Night Shelter, our weekly Street life and monthly Encounter Meetings.
Our City Students & Young Adults
Being involved in the OurCity community, meeting up with students and co-ordinating events.
Worship
Developing your gifts whether it’s in music, leading worship or songwriting.
Creative
Communications, video, live stream, photography, graphic design, copy writing and social media.
Operations & Site Administration
Sunday logistics and events
Kids work & Youth
Joining the vibrant kids Sunday’s team, our growing Youth on Friday Nights and supporting Little Elms, our baby and toddler group.
