What if I don’t know anyone?

In the middle of the service, we show a short video about what is happening at City. There is a short break when you get a chance to say hello to people.

Is there a talk?

After the break someone (normally one of the leaders) will speak for about 30mins. We teach truth from the Bible and apply it to how we live our lives now. At the end of the service, there is normally an opportunity to respond to what has been shared either through singing again or sharing communion and receiving prayer.

Can anyone come along?

Everyone is welcome at our meetings and you can participate at whatever level you feel comfortable. Please stay around to chat over a tea or coffee after the service has finished, or go to the Welcome Desk if you have any questions.

How long do the services last?

Our Sunday services usually last 90 minutes.

What happens at your Sunday services?

We start by singing songs that help us to focus on God. People will often pray out loud, read from the bible or share things that they feel God wants to encourage the people with. We usually take communion during our services.

Is there anything for children and young people?

We run activities for babies, children and teenagers. These activities are run by a dedicated team of volunteers who have undergone DBS checks and comply with our Safeguarding policy.

The young people go out to their group during the break before the talk.

School years 1-6*, every Sunday .

Fun and exciting

Every session is fast-paced, with games, activities, crafts, friendly competitions and prizes.The teaching is delivered in a variety of fun and interactive styles, such as drama, video, interviews, quizzes and object lessons.

Everyone Welcome

City Kids is designed to be accessible for everyone, even if they have never visited church before. Safeguarding and practical safety and managed to a high degree of excellence.
