CHRISTMAS SERVICES & EVENTS
We love to celebrate Christmas at City Church.
You are welcome to join us at any of our events through the festive season to celebrate or take part by contributing to our City Christmas Hope campaign.
Details of how to attend and contribute are below:
Services resume at the normal times from 5th January
As part of our vision of Helping Bristol Believe, we want to give the gift of hope to our city this Christmas.
Last year we launched City Christmas Hope. This year we have three ways that we can show love and generosity to those who are vulnerable, alone and hurting:
Encounter Christmas meal providing a safe place where vulnerable people can enjoy great food, have fun and hear the good news of Jesus. We are hoping to provide 60 stockings filled with presents to give out on 18th December. Pick up a stocking and list of items from your site. Please return to your site by 8th December.
Sixty-One is a charity in Bristol that works directly in prisons and with ex-offenders through the ‘Mentor Me’ scheme. Along with 11 other churches in Bristol, we are hoping to provide 1400 gifts for prisoners across the city. We will buy gift packs, have volunteers packing and writing cards for the prisoners. Each gift to a prisoner costs £7.50. We are hoping to give gifts to 120 prisoners.
Beloved is a Christian charity offering support to vulnerable women in Bristol and the surrounding areas. We want to provide 70 gifts costing £20 to women in parlours. Along with Christmas cards with handwritten message
Pick up a stocking and buy gifts. Please return this by 3rd December.
